What kind of data do we process? And for what purpose?

We process the personal data necessary for the implementation of contractual or pre-contractual measures. This essentially means your contact information, such as postal address, billing address, phone numbers, email address, website, industry.

The legal basis for the processing of contractual and pre-contractual data is primarily § 6 para. (1) letter b) of the German Data Protection Act (BDSG). According to this provision, the processing of data is permitted if this is necessary to carry out contractual or pre-contractual measures.
For customers and interested parties, data processing is also carried out on the basis of a so-called balancing of interests pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 figure f) of the GDPR. The interest is the implementation of advertising activities of our company. For customers, advertising measures can also mean email advertising. For other advertising e-mail recipients, the information obligations for e-mail recipients apply.

How long will data be stored?

The personal data of customers and suppliers will be stored for the duration of the contractual relationship and beyond. All data related to business transactions will be stored for 10 years.
Due to our advertising interest, contact data may be stored longer until the customer restricts the use of the data for advertising purposes and exercises his or her right as a data subject.
The personal data of interested parties (potential customers) will also be stored for 10 years. Contact data of potential customers may be stored longer due to our interest in advertising until the interested party restricts the use of the data for advertising purposes and makes use of his or her right as a data subject.

To which recipients will the data be forwarded?

The customer and supplier data may be passed on to third parties if this is necessary for the fulfilment of the contractual relationship. The recipient depends on the subject of our contract and cannot generally be named.

Interested parties' data will not be passed on to third parties.

Where will the data be processed?

The data will be processed in our agency software. The software runs on the server in our offices.

No data will be transferred to a third country.

Your rights as a 'data subject’

You have the right to be informed about your personal data processed by us.
In the case of a request for information that is not made in writing, we ask for your understanding that we may ask you to provide evidence to prove that you are the person you claim to be.
Furthermore, you have the right to correction or deletion or to restriction of processing, as far as you are legally entitled to do so.
Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing within the scope of the statutory provisions. The same applies to a right to data transferability.

Right of appeal

In the event of data protection concerns, you have the right of appeal to any supervisory authority. The supervisory authority in data protection matters is, for example, the state data protection commissioner of the federal state in which our company is based.
