The new MIWE go! baking oven control system was tailored precisely to user roles in terms of concept and design. Thanks to extensive usability tests and the integration of user-centred design in the development process, the HMI depicts the everyday work of all users in a self-explanatory manner. Two apps were also developed to match the HMI.
Fast visual recording of the oven status as well as the fast, intuitive operation of the oven are of great importance for the employees in the sales room of a bakery. MIWE go! uses large, clear symbols, small animations and acoustic signals to give the user clear instructions for action. This is additionally supported by the visual design. It corresponds to the corporate design of MIWE and gives the surface a modern appearance with strong, clear and contrasting elements.
Together with our customer MIWE, we conceived and designed both the operating concept and the visual design from scratch.

In future, Audi's digital planning assistant will support production line planners in their daily work. The focus of our project with Audi was the development of a task-oriented usability and user experience concept and a CI-compliant design.
With the "Connect" app and the associated portal, Kurtz Ersa offers a comprehensive solution for communication with the customer and a central knowledge database. We developed the Connect app together with Ersa. We were responsible for the user experience concept and the visual design.
